After a turbulent spring in which the original developers faced bankruptcy, The proposed $1 Billion Skywater Over Horseshoe Bay project was recently auctioned off to a new investment group, SW Ownership LLC. The new owners have scaled back the project to a more modest $245 Million but are still retaining the Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Course which promises to be one of the premier golf courses in Horseshoe Bay. The 1,600 acre development will feature lot sizes ranging from 1/3 of an acre up to 8 acres and will feature a clubhouse, pool, recreation facilities, hiking and biking trails as well as membership privileges to neighboring Horseshoe Bay Resort with 3 golf courses and Lake LBJ access.
